09.30.2013 - 18 Months

My little munchkin turned 18 months today! I did not create his photo collage yet but here is a collage of JJ and I before heading out to do some shopping.


He is growing up so fast! In six months he will be 2 years old. I love this boy with all my heart. He is my life.

Journals

I miss journaling! I used to write every single day when I started writing in college (2003). I stopped eventually because life got busy and I forgot to write on some days.

I have journal entries in my MacBook from when hubby and I first got married. I did journal up until we got married. Hahaha.

I have every single journal I ever wrote in. They are all in Oregon with hubby.

Now I blog and I still do not of daily. I need to get into more. Post more pics, take video and all that jazz.

Now that my little family is growing I need to document everything! I've been documenting JJ and will be adding Obi along with his Kuya.

It's hard now to sit and write with an active toddler, even then when JJ was a newborn. Hahaha. Momma sleeps when baby sleeps.

Now that I am getting into the swing of parenthood I am def going to get my blog up and going. I foresee a lot of great things happening in the future. I have a lot of plans for this blog. It's going to be amazing.

25 Weeks

Hip hip hooray! I am 25 weeks today!! 14 more weeks to go until my scheduled cesarean. I cannot believe how much time is flying by. It is absolutely nuts. Obi will be gracing us with his presence soon :)

I haven't had any symptoms really. Just exhaustion so that is taken care of with naps. Well, whenever I can get one in really. JJ does not nap regularly. So when he does, I take full advantage of it. Oh and baby belly aches...aka round ligament pains. My baby belly may not be a D belly but it sure is growing. I have the tiger stripes to prove it. Hahaha.

I have been making a lot of lists lately. Stuff to get down before Obi arrives and after he arrives. Projects, crafts, school stuff, etc. I feel better organized if I have a list of what needs to be done. Totally helps me out especially now that I am forgetful than ever.
I know what JJ and I will be for Halloween. It's just a matter of getting the supplies and making the costumes.

I've already contacted the photographers I want for my maternity shoot. It's going to be JJ, preggie belly and me. It'll be our Christmas present for Hubby.
It's going to be a crazy yet fun rest of 2013 ;)

PIFA 2013!

Today I spent the afternoon at the Pacific Islander Festival with my twin aunties. It was a lot of fun!

The weather was sunny with a nice breeze since we were by the water. The food was yummy and the atmosphere was great!





I do not have very many pictures. We did a lot of walking, eating and shopping. We also watched a few of the performances.

24 Weeks

Hip hip hooray I am 24 weeks today! I also had my bi-MONTHLY appointment. My blood pressure has been really good. With JJ around this time my blood pressure would be through the roof. I gained a few pounds as expected, especially since hubby was here and I had him making food runs. Haha! Lastly, Obi's heart rate is beating beautifully and strong!

I have been experiencing extreme fatigue even with a good nights sleep. I still wake up tired and end up taking an early afternoon nap.

Wednesday 09.18.2013

:( A sad day for the Millers. Hubby left for Oregon but we did spend the morning and afternoon together.

In the AM we took JJ to his first Gymboree Play & Learn class. He loved it! I did not take any photos or video because there was a sign that said "phones off" so I abided by them. I am such a goody goody. Hahaha!

We arrived 15 minutes early and were allowed for free time. JJ was all over the place and he did follow some of the directions given by the class instructor Miss Olivia.

After the 45 min class they had 15 minutes after for more free time. When it was time to leave JJ did not want to go! He seriously threw a fit. He sure did give Daddy a hard time while I was registering him for classes. It was so cute. After a good five minutes he chilled out and was back to good ol' JJ.

We went home afterwards to have lunch.








After lunch and a nap we went to Tooma Park and played for a good hour. Well, Daddy and JJ played while I watched. Hahaha.



















































After the park we went home and relaxed before dropping of Daddy at the airport.









I miss my husband so much. It was a good 5 days of family time. We missed him so much.

I cannot wait until we are together again and this time around it will be under one roof for a lifetime.

Hubby's interview day!!
Hubby had an interview in San Bernadino for a county job. I hope and pray he gets this position. It'll benefit all of us and we can be together sooner than later.

Family fun day!!

It was such a beautiful day and we decided to take JJ to Chuck E. Cheese and to the mall to ride the train. We had such a great time and I loved every second with my two men.


























































I love my Miller men so much and I cannot wait to have family time with all three of my Miller men.

Saturday 09.14.2013

Saturday we went to the outlet mall in San Ysidro and did a little shopping. Daddy and son got two pairs of shoes from Vans.

I did not get many photos from this day. I wasn't feeling well...kinda yucky and when we got home we rested and then Daddy and I went to our hotel room on base at North Island.

Daddy and Son Reunited

Hubby arrived a little after 3am on 09.13. I picked him up, he settled down and we took a nap. JJ was sleeping with Grandma and Grandpa. Around 8a when JJ woke up him and Daddy finally reunite after a little over four months of not being together physically. JJ saw Daddy every day via FaceTime.

Same day that afternoon JJ had a father/son date to see the Disney Jr Live Show - Pirates and a Princess (I think that is the title of the show).




































It was great day for a reunion and family time.
