33 Weeks TODAY!

Only 6 more weeks until the day I hold my youngest son! OH MY GOSH!!! I am now a Mommy of two boys. I cannot believe at how the time is just breezing on by. Everything is moving so fast now. We now have been in San Diego for six months. Our plans are starting to come together. The saying is true...everything must fall apart in order to fall into place.

My OB appointment went well today. My blood pressure is perfect and Obi's heart rate is perfect as well. Beating strong! I haven't gained weight these past two weeks. So I am still at 13lbs weight gain. Which is pretty darn good considering when I was pregnant with JJ I put on 50+ lbs. I am proud of myself for staying on top of my eating habits.

Other news...

I have a lot to blog about...I have a new hobby. Actually, new hobbies. Made new friends and just enjoying life minus the negative people. It is amazing.

I will blog about my new hobbies in another post. Let me get to the negative people...

Ever since a friendship with a particular someone ended, everything has been going great! I guess our friendship was not meant to last and I am completely okay with that. At first I was wondering why this individual decided to make it a goal in their life to let our mutual friends know that I am a bad friend. Well, our mutual friends are still talking to me and I have not once discussed with them what went down. To me, whatever happened between this individual stays between us. I am not the type of person to make friends choose sides. That is soooo high school. We are adults for goodness sake and going around talking about what happened just so you can get people to side with you is ridiculous. I did text this person happy birthday on their special day...and lets just say the reply I received should have not surprised me at all. Apparently, I was talking behind this persons back, when I have PROOF that this person was talking about me (provided by one of our mutual friends). I never told this person that I had this proof. In all honestly I wanted to, but I also did not want to stoop down to this persons level. Better to be the bigger person and just walk away. I actually thought of this person on their special day and greeted a friendly HBD and pretty much got a high school drama response. My reply -- Kk. Take care :) -- Yes I actually put a happy face on there. Hahaha! I wish this person all the best in their life. I would never wish bad upon anyone.

Oops, I went on a rant. Sorry. Just had to get that off my chest. I am glad that the negative energy I was getting from this person is now no more. I am surrounding myself with positive vibes and everything has been fantastic.

Everything does happen for a reason. 2014 is going to be a fantastic year. I look forward to documenting it and living it with a happy heart and full of love! Bring it!

11.15.2013 - 32 weeks + 1 day

7 more weeks to go and Obi will be here! I am excited and nervous at the same time. At least this time there is no waiting for my water to break. My c-section is scheduled for January 7th @ 7:30a.

I am glad he has his own day and will not share his birthday with Momma :)

11.07.2013 - 31 Weeks!

I had my two week appointment today and it went well. Oliver's heart rate is great! And his size is where he should be at this time of the pregnancy.

As for me my blood pressure has risen to the 130s over high 80s which is not so bad considering with JJ I was already at the 140s/90s around this time.

I have an appointment next week for an ultrasound and will see what happens with my blood pressure this week then we will go from there per my OB.

My kick counts are fantastic. Obi has 10 movements in user 5 minutes.

My little munchkin was sooo sweet today and used my tummy as a pillow while we watched television.


Love this boy. He is going to be an amazing big brother to Obi.

30 Weeks + 1 Day

Only 9 weeks to go and Oliver Bruce will grace us with his beautiful presence.

I have been feeling pretty good lately. Today we had brunch with auntie Alpha and auntie Junie then we visited Lola and chilled out for a bit.

I feel the pregnancy glow now. Hahaha. It's a little late in the pregnancy to feel it but I am glad I am feeling it.
