Week One!

Week one of Project Life 2014 has begun! I received my Canon Selphy today! Definitely perfect timing.

(sorry for the poor quality picture)

I am going to attempt to print weekly (Sundays) so that I will not fall so far behind. I still have all of 2012/2013 to print. I will print those via Snapfish or something. As long as I can find a good deal.

I still need to upload my pics from my MacBook to SmugMug. I have over 6,000 so it is taking a very long time to transfer.

I have a lot of organizing and planning ahead of me for Project Life 2014 annnnd 2012/2013 which includes JJ's baby book.

12.30.2013 - 21 Months & Trip to the ER

Baby boy has gotten croup. Second time this year :( We went to the ER around between 8-9a and JJ was discharged around 1pm. Per the doctor he will get worse before getting better.

I hate seeing him having a hard time breathing. He has a low grade fever as well.

Watching Mickey Mouse on his I touch while waiting for his saline treatment.

He was/is a trooper! Still smiling even while feeling so blah.

37 Weeks + 2 Days

I cannot believe Oliver will be here any day now! This photo was taken this past Thursday at exactly 37 weeks. I am not wearing my belly support tank so you can see my B belly.

I also had my OB appointment. I had an ultrasound and Obi is weighing in at 7lbs and measuring at 39 weeks. He is a big boy :) After my ultrasound I had to go through a NST (non-stress test). He is all good!!

He has been moving a lot and his movements are no joke. LOL! So exciting!! Soon we will be meeting our youngest son.

36 Weeks + 2 Days

Oh my goodness! Next week will be full term week! I cannot believe that this pregnancy is nearing its end. Oliver Bruce Miller will grace us with his beautiful presence soon. I am looking forward to holding him in my arms and seeing JJ kiss his little brother. Hubby will be here in one week and we will have two weeks together as a family of three and then we will become a family of four. I feel so blessed.

Reach for the stars and beyond...

I am so motivated to get back into shape! When I lost 70lbs I was on the MediFast program. I believe I have blogged about it before. It definitely is a nice weight loss regime for those that are considered obese to morbidly obese. I was on the program with the supervision of my doctor. The only downfall to the program is that it is not long term. In-taking 900-1000 calories a day plus working out definitely helped me lose all the weight.

I am going to be a Mother of two boys and I want to be in the best shape of my life. MediFast this time around is not an option. One, it costs way too much money and two, I want long term results as opposed to something quick. This can be done by a whole lifestyle change. That is eating healthy and working out regularly.

I had a conversation with my cousin earlier today and she talked about how she wants to learn more about health and fitness, learn to lose weight the right way and then become a PE teacher. Our conversation reminded me to blog about what I want to do after I give birth to my second son. Health, fitness and weight loss will be a lifestyle change for me. My goal is to work towards a NPC Bikini competitors body but not compete. Well, if I am confident enough when I reach my goal then maybe I will compete. For now my goal is reach the healthy weight for my height and be fit. I want to see my boys grow up into the men they are destined to be.

I will share my journey on my blog/Instagram and my Facebook page for my blog. But I will not share on my personal Facebook page. I want to surprise my family that I can do this and will achieve my goal.

Hubby will also be helping me achieve my goal as well. We talked about working out together and getting fit together. Plus it will be awesome to have my husband be my accountability partner.

Instagram is a great social media for motivation. My favorite Fit Mamas are @jenaragon, @fitamysuzzane and @jengaleng. These three lovely women are Mothers, wives, career women and NPC Bikini competitors. They motivate me to reach for my goal. @jengaleng is definitely up there on my motivation list. We went to Jr. High and High School together. I have been following her journey on Instagram since day one. Mother of two, working mama, wife, and everything in between. She looks great and it motivates me to get to that point after I have Oliver.

I am excited to start my journey, but until then I will enjoy the rest of my pregnancy.

JJ's FIRST whole sentence.

As I was reading JJ his bed time story I pointed to a picture of the moon and asked "JJ what is this?"

JJ said "it's the moon!"

I am one proud momma!!!

Updates!

Where to begin?! Let me see...

I have created a YouTube channel and a new Twitter account - MommyMillerTime - for my blog. I will definitely start vlogging and tweeting updates. 2014 is the year where I will be putting my life out there for whoever is interested to see. I watch vlogs on YouTube and read blogs by other fellow mommies and they just put themselves out there to be criticized but it does not stop them from doing what they are doing. I need to work up the courage to do that and I will do it.

My blog will be pretty much about being a Mother to two boys, mommy/wife life, weight loss, Filofax'ing/Organizing, Project Life, grad school and everything in between! It is going to be fun all while raising a toddler and a newborn. I can do it!

I am now 35 weeks + 2 days! Oliver has dropped drastically. He is putting so much pressure on my bladder and last night I could not walk after getting up from laying down. It hurt to move. This pregnancy is definitely different than being pregnant with JJ. I have a feeling I may not make it to January 7th.

That is it for my current updates. I have my maternity photo shoot tomorrow with Next To Me Studios. Keep a look out for a post on that with the final photos!

Until next time...

xoxo
