I am so motivated to get back into shape! When I lost 70lbs I was on the MediFast program. I believe I have blogged about it before. It definitely is a nice weight loss regime for those that are considered obese to morbidly obese. I was on the program with the supervision of my doctor. The only downfall to the program is that it is not long term. In-taking 900-1000 calories a day plus working out definitely helped me lose all the weight.
I am going to be a Mother of two boys and I want to be in the best shape of my life. MediFast this time around is not an option. One, it costs way too much money and two, I want long term results as opposed to something quick. This can be done by a whole lifestyle change. That is eating healthy and working out regularly.
I had a conversation with my cousin earlier today and she talked about how she wants to learn more about health and fitness, learn to lose weight the right way and then become a PE teacher. Our conversation reminded me to blog about what I want to do after I give birth to my second son. Health, fitness and weight loss will be a lifestyle change for me. My goal is to work towards a NPC Bikini competitors body but not compete. Well, if I am confident enough when I reach my goal then maybe I will compete. For now my goal is reach the healthy weight for my height and be fit. I want to see my boys grow up into the men they are destined to be.
I will share my journey on my blog/Instagram and my Facebook page for my blog. But I will not share on my personal Facebook page. I want to surprise my family that I can do this and will achieve my goal.
Hubby will also be helping me achieve my goal as well. We talked about working out together and getting fit together. Plus it will be awesome to have my husband be my accountability partner.
Instagram is a great social media for motivation. My favorite Fit Mamas are @jenaragon, @fitamysuzzane and @jengaleng. These three lovely women are Mothers, wives, career women and NPC Bikini competitors. They motivate me to reach for my goal. @jengaleng is definitely up there on my motivation list. We went to Jr. High and High School together. I have been following her journey on Instagram since day one. Mother of two, working mama, wife, and everything in between. She looks great and it motivates me to get to that point after I have Oliver.
I am excited to start my journey, but until then I will enjoy the rest of my pregnancy.
xoxo
